BimTube's Mission
We want to build everyone’s digital knowledge with content and conversations to inspire and instigate 'Better Information Management' to enable - better decisions, better infrastructure, better services and better outcomes for our social, economic and environmental infrastructure.

Bim for us means 'Better Information Management'
We mean 'Better Information Management' in the widest sense, not just technology. We mean leveraging Digital Transformation (focused on people, process improvement and change management), data-centric decision-making and adopting an asset life cycle information management (ALCIM) approach for infrastructure assets and systems
(when underpinned by these International best practice standards series ISO 19650 / ISO 55000).

 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

'Better Information Management' for our social, economic and environmental infrastructure can help us deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

What are the SDGs? At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Why the BimTube Podcast?
"It's what we do with 'data and digital' that really matters! Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) for it's own sake has no value. Data and information only becomes a true asset when aligned to a clear purpose, like improving sustainability. But, we need 'better information management' - now - to accelerate our positive impact."

Steven, Founder and Host of the BimTube Postcast
